kefir_0 You have probably heard about the tremendous health benefits of kefir. It is a very valuable product for our body not only inside, but also outside – for our skin. It helps rejuvenate our skin and get rid of some of the problems associated with acne, redness and inflammation of the skin. (This is what I use to make my own kefir)

Kefir mask for your face: beneficial bacteria for the skin

A Kefir mask for your face will help recover and regulate the acid/alkaline balance in the skin cells of the face (due to the useful lactobacilli in kefir).  Additionally, Kefir contains alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) –  a form of lactic acid which balances our body’s PH levels, thus helping to reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process. Lactobacilli in a Kefir face mask perfectly cleans the skin from harmful substances and dust, thus adding freshness and elasticity.

A Kefir mask also contains amino acids which are extremely important and integral components for hydration of the skin and active feeding. Moreover, these amino acids also play the role of antioxidants and do not allow the skin to fade and wither.
Kefir facial masks are absolutely suitable for any type of skin.  You can use berries, healing herbs, honey, egg whites and other sour-milk products in combination with kefir.
